I thought security forces just guarded U.S. Embassies.

yes thats true but i heard that if you make the counter-terrorist team you see alot of combat.how hard is it to make the counter-terrorist team?

well im thinking of changing my mos cause i just want to fight,but ive heard security forces is a good job.but i dont want to do it if i was told wrong about if they see more combat..

Security forces do not guard the embassies. That is MSG duty, and is something different. Security Forces guard naval instalations and the like. As for more fighting, its doubtful, but I could see it being true... if you were on MSG duty in the gulf or something.

The anti-terrorism team you are talking about is probably FAST. They are high speed individuals, but there aren't many of them. I wouldn't pin all of my hopes on being selected to be one of them.

If you are wanting to fight, I would suggest going 03XX. I would question your motivation, because I've yet to meet a person that has been in combat and thinks its nearly as great as all the wannabes seem to think it is. That being said, best of luck to you... and stick with being a regular 03, not Security Forces.

On the up side, those that make it through combat for the most part don't find it so full of glory as they did before joining.
