Silent Drill Team

Hi, I am new to this forum and I have a few questions, but I will give you this one first.

I am very interested in the Silent Drill Team and would like to know everything that there is to know about it.
1. How do I get in?
2. Do I have to change my MOS to get into it?
3. How long does it take to get in?
4. How many team members are their?
5. Anything else you can think of.

I would greatly appreciate any information you have on them, and if you can give me any tips on how to get in.

From what I remember you have to be Infantry. When you are at boot they will ask who wants to be a part of "Yankee White." These are the guys who go to 8th and I. From there you can try out for the Drill Team. I'd double check with a recruiter though.

Stiffler you have to be a certain height to get invited to tryout for the Drill team. Also your SRB has to be crystal clean and be an outstanding Marine, they come out to different bases to do a recruiting meeting from what I remember like MSG did when I was in.

I was recruited to 8th and I right out of Parris Island. Yes there is a height requirement. How tall are you? What kind of shape are you in. You have to be a standout but some weak ones get through too. But they don't last long. PM me with some questions. I'll answer them for you.
