Class Action Suit Takes a Hit
On Nov. 18, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C., ruled against a class action lawsuit on behalf of certain military retirees by a count of nine to four.

Prior Service Enlistment Bonuses Jump 60 Percent Plus
Under the fiscal '03 defense authorization act, prior service enlistment bonuses will rise 60 percent, from $5,000 to $8,000 for members who enlist for six years, and from $2,500 to $4,000 for members who enlist for three years.
