Yes indeed, even when things were going wrong this Outstanding Marine kept at it. Kept doing his job, didn't give up.

What words can we use to describe the pride and honor that we feel of what Sergent Eric Smith USMC did in Ramadi Iraq.
And isn't just like all heroes, he gives credit to all the other Marines that he led after loosing his platoon commander.
Some at University of Washington don't want Marines to be something the university should produce.
What a pity, they just might miss men such as Sergent Eric Smith USMC.
The Recruits Depots are still producing Marines such as Sergeant Eric Smith and A Marine I only know as Jennifer.
She wants to go back to the "big sandbox" to help other Marines.
It's a pity that the University did not produce young men and women as these two Marines...

The "Magnificent Bastards" really took a battering that day in April 2004. We lost two local Marines that day LCpl Travis Layfield and LCpl Kyle Crowely and they died by Lt. Ski's side. I will never forget the deeds of all these young men of Echo and Golf Company 2/4 that day. May they all rest in peace.
