Fitness Tip
How many calories can I eat without gaining weight?
Heres a simple formula:
1. Divide your weight in pounds by 2.2
2. Multiply by 24 (This give you the number of calories you
need to just be alive)
3. Factor in activiy calories by multiplying number 2 (above) by 1.6
This is how many calories you can eat per day without
gaining weight.
To lose those extra pounds,
you'll have to burn more calories than you eat,
either by exercising more or eating less.

Now the question might be;
Do we count everything we consume?
Also do we carry a calorie counter on our person.
Mine works out like this;
153/2.2=69.45
69.45 x 24=1669.09
1669.09 x 1.6= 2670.59 calories/per day
So I must either burn more calories by exercising or eat less than 2670.59 without gaining an weight.

"Just Do It" even if it's a little...every little bit helps in our fight to regain our physcial Fitness!

this is pretty cool. thanks. I try to maintain that "fitness" by getting up at 4:30 each morning and lifting for 1/2 hour and then running 4-5 miles. I do this M-F, saturday and Sunday I probably break those numbers i worked out above and have to start all over again on Monday. But hey for two time cancer survivor I still try!!!
I will pass this on its good stuff.

As Satchell Page would say, " when I gets to feeling likes exercising, I just lays down till that feeling goes away."

Sister you are to be Commended for your Fight against Cancer

(My wife's friend just lost her Battle with Breast Cancer she was 48 years young)

Your excercise routine is also to be Commended.

For years I did a similar routine ,than age and Accidents caught
up with this 62 year old.

Knees gave out ,Diabetes ,High Blood Pressure ,over weight etc.
all took over. Knees Replaced 14 May 02 ,Bi-Lateral.

At 62 it is hard coming back ,but when I hear or read story's like yours , it keeps me going and restores my Faith in my self and
