I enlisted as a reservist this past June in order to get shipped out to boot camp early (in July, as oppose to October, if I signed up as active duty). I plan to switch to active duty as soon as I finish with my year-long MOS school here at 29 Palms. I graduated from Parris Island on 10 November 2005. I remembered that during processing at the beginning of boot camp they told us that reservists are not eligible to sign up for the G. I. Bill. I was wondering if there is any way I can sign up now, or am I totally screwed? I think that would really suck. Any advice?
