MCAGCC, Twentynine Palms, Calif.(June 28, 2002) -- One of the most
recognized former Marines on the planet was aboard the Combat Center last
week doing what he does best: selling the Marine Corps.
R. Lee Ermey, best known to Marines for his role as Senior Drill Instructor
Gunnery Sgt. Hartman in Stanley Kubrick's 1987 film "Full Metal Jacket,"
spent June 18 in MCAGCC's desert training area shooting a segment for an
upcoming History Channel series, "Mail Call."
