Just finished reading the book "The Gift of Valor" by Michael M. Phillips about Corporal Jason Dunham, U.S.M.C.
The first person that came to mind as I was reading the book was LCpl. Shawn Seeley. It was like reading LCpl.'s chronicles all over again except, of coarse, with a different ending. The book had everything that the LCpl.'s chronicles had. From support groups, to Marines helping Marines, to visits by the Commandant, to the emotional ebbs and flow of uncertainty. The book mirrored what we all went through following the progress of LCpl. Seeley. It was an emotional read. The book is about 245 pages long and although light in weight to hold it is very heavy on the heart.
