KEYDET,

I hope you where present to hear MajGen. Cortez speak at recent events at VMI. The video was a project completed by LtCol. James Kuhn at Headquarters Marine Corps. The African-American Marine officer in the spot is Capt. Tony Robinson. I previously worked with both of these officers before they left Marine Corps Recruiting Command. It is a motivational spot! A 30 second commercial was also released and is being aired as a Public Service Announcement at stations throughout the country.

I do not remember seeing this video in 2002. I definately would have remembered it. My eyes started to leak a little. I don't know where we get these fine young men and women to do this job. Thank you to the Marines, Sailors, and to the families of these fine young worriors. I know that my future and my familie's future are very bright indeed with these foilks in charge of my country. The politicuans can go where the sun don't shine as far as I am concerned.
