From Einstein to Kinsey: How Colleges and Universities Hide the Truth from Our Kids

During last year’s presidential campaign, John Kerry as much as said that George Bush and his religious supporters (i.e., Christians and many Jews) were on the wrong side of science—that they were ignorant and stupid. For example, he smeared those who oppose killing embryonic human beings as “putting right-wing ideology above science.”
But Kerry, a product of Yale, was merely regurgitating what legions of liberal Democrat soft-science professors, who have a stranglehold on American higher education, have been force-feeding students for years.
Most of our U.S. Supreme Court justices agree with these academics, and have been busy replacing traditional morality with “science” in their decision-making. Associate Justice Stephen Breyer (a former Ted Kennedy aide) has actually said so. We have only to look at the Court’s anarchic rulings on pornography, sodomy, partial-birth abortion, and religion in the public square, to name a few.
The left-wing professors’ twisted “science” comes from such schools as Harvard and Indiana University. Leftists everywhere rely on this bad science to perpetuate and propagate their worldview, so at odds with reality. Hypocritically, leftist professors, along with the Hollywood and big media elite, have suppressed vital information and made non-persons out of those scientists whose findings have undermined their worldview.
Two such eminent scientists are Drs. Georges Lemaitre and Judith Reisman. Their research tipped the balance against the atheistic profs in two key fields, but our kids don’t know it.
For example, almost all high school and college students have heard of Albert Einstein. In 2000 Time named him Person of the Century, and his picture is plastered on classroom walls across America. The brightest students, our future decision-makers and opinion-molders, believe he explained the universe and where it came from.
Christian enlightened Einstein
Yet these same kids, like most Americans, have never heard of Georges Lemaitre, the brilliant Catholic priest, mathematician and physicist who had to explain the universe to Einstein. After hearing Dr. Lemaitre speak in California in 1933, Einstein stated, “This is the most beautiful and satisfactory explanation of creation to which I have ever listened” (“A Day Without Yesterday,” Commonweal, March 24, 2000).
Dr. Lemaitre was the first physicist to establish that the universe and everything in it were created out of nothing, that time and space had a beginning, and that the universe expanded from an infinitely small point.
This was ancient Judeo-Christian thinking, of course. But Dr. Lemaitre didn’t have a secularist worldview blinding him to these facts, as so many of the anti-religious profs had, and still have.
Einstein, like most of the scholars inhabiting academia, at first considered Dr. Lemaitre’s ideas heresy, but by the end of the 20th century, the Belgian priest-scientist had been proven right. The “Big Bang” had happened, was a one-time event, and the universe wasn’t going to collapse back on itself, because it was actually speeding up as it continued its outward journey.
These discoveries, obviously, are enormously important to what our school curriculum should look like. Why not let our kids in on the secret? Because it would tend to validate Christianity, and might move the curriculum back toward teaching morals and building character.
Speaking of discoveries, all doctoral candidates must learn to calculate probability, which enables scholars to determine mathematically the likelihood of something being true. At a symposium at the Wistar Institute of Anatomy and Physiology in the late 1970s, mathematicians showed biologists that all probability calculations debunk the idea that random events caused life to develop in the universe. But, says MIT-trained scientist Gerald L. Schroeder in The Hidden Face of God, the biologists simply assumed the math had to be wrong.
Scholars, like other people, have their reasons for keeping secrets. Imposing and enforcing an anti-Judeo-Christian worldview is the Number One reason. As Humanist Manifesto signer C.F. Potter said in 1930, “Education is thus a most powerful ally of humanism, and every American public school is a school of humanism. What can theistic Sunday schools, meeting for an hour once a week, teaching only a fraction of the children, do to stem the tide of a five-day program of humanistic teaching?”
Scholastic Stalinism
But physics and biology aren’t the only fields where scholastic Stalinism held sway. For the last half-century, secular universities have also twisted our children’s view of sexuality by foisting Prof. Alfred Kinsey-inspired “sexology” on them. Hollywood even lionized that sexual revolutionary in the Liam Neeson film “Kinsey.” But in the case of Kinsey, too, an honest academic proved the secularists’ “research” was bogus—and worse.
In 1980 the diminutive Dr. Judith Reisman stood up at the Fifth World Congress of Sexuality in Israel and showed that the new field of sex studies had built a whole “sex education” curriculum based on the “research” of Prof. Kinsey and his scholarly team. She proceeded to prove that their vaunted “findings” about children’s supposed desire for sex were a monstrous fraud based on their interviews with active child molesters and child rapists.
This upset the gathered “sexologists.” They didn’t want to hear the truth. They wanted to keep using Kinsey’s phony “research” as holy writ to guide universities, high schools and grade schools in teaching our children anything-goes sex lessons. What’s more, they wanted the whole world to adopt Kinsey’s godless, amoral model.
In the USA, these academic “sexperts” have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams (make that “fantasies”). Not only have they corrupted millions through classroom “sex ed,” but their Kinsey-based sex “science” now guides most of the Supreme Court, with Harvard law clerks leading the ongoing sexual revolution.
What are the results of the Court’s sexual Kulturkampf? For one, pornography is everywhere, especially in the hands of young men and convicted sex offenders. You’d think even Harvard-educated law clerks would know that most sex criminals excite themselves by using “adult entertainment.”
Left-wing science’s victims
There’s more: Every index of sexual health has collapsed since 1950, when American universities began evicting Christian sexual ethics and turning the classrooms over to Kinsey-spawned “sexologists.”
In 1950, a fraction of one percent of young people had VD. Today 25 percent get it before they get their high school diplomas. An estimated 40-50 percent of all U.S. college girls now carry human papilloma virus (HPV), the leading cause of cervical cancer (HPV-caused cancer kills 4,000-plus Americans every year). A million-plus Americans are now infected with HIV or AIDS. Tens of millions also suffer from incurable genital herpes. Now we even have lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV), a serious disease (think VD plus colitis) that’s starting to spread among homosexual and bisexual males.
The sexologists’ remedy for these horrors is “Give young people more condoms!” And more “sex ed.” Oh, and let our $10 billion porn industry make more porn films so we can further degrade the broken people who “act” in them. Then make our kids study these films in “intellectual” college courses on pornography.
I saw up close what the porn industry did to its “performers” when I served as an advisor to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors’ Commission on Obscenity and Pornography. Somehow the porn stars’ suicides, drug addictions and AIDS deaths don’t show up in the “good science” that the sexologists supply to Supreme Court Justices and the rest of our literati.
Most of America’s sexual pathologies, plus abortion and homosexual “marriage,” came from university-trained “sexologists.” And now strong contingents in both the American Psychiatric Association and the American Psychological Association want to see adult-child sex legalized (expect both organizations to come out for it). You can trace such social monstrosities back to Big Lies that many profs told our students.
How to stop leftist profs
Yet lawmakers and private donors keep shoveling billions into the coffers of secular universities. And the soft-science departments (plus a few “hard” ones) keep hiring far-left ideologues. These include people like dissenting theologian Monica Hellwig, former Georgetown University prof and recent head of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, and Gayle Binion, past Chairwoman of the University of California Academic Senate and current UC Santa Barbara political science prof, who’s been a major force in the ACLU over the years.
Ideologues such as these are the real leaders in university opinion-making, working through academic senates and other powerful groups on campus. They’re the movers and shakers who keep pseudo-science in power in academia. The last thing they want our kids to know about is the work of the Dr. Lemaitres and the Dr. Reismans.
Only when our elected representatives and private donors stop signing the $100,000-plus paychecks of hard-left professors and the cronies they hire will our young people learn how badly they’ve been swindled by the Alfred Kinseys, Margaret Meads and Peter Singers of this world. Our legislators should consider taking direct tax funding away from government universities and giving it directly to students as tuition, to create more freedom of choice in education. Likewise, our lawmakers should strip the “sexologists” and “sexuality institutes” of their state licenses to train countless thousands in the anything-goes Kinsey lifestyle.
But none of this will happen till taxpayers and parents demand it. You can help. Write letters to your lawmakers and newspaper. Call the talk shows. Tell donors to stop funding the ideologues who control so much of our campuses. We need professors who’ll teach our children the truth, not discredited old lies.
