OLMSTED TOWNSHIP — Cameras were rolling in Olmsted Township as NBC filmed an episode of its prime time show, "Three Wishes."

The program, which travels the country looking to fulfill the wishes of needy or inspirational people, was filming part of a special military-themed episode, set to air within the year.

he theme involves members of the 3rd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment based in Brook Park, which received national attention after 48 members lost their lives in Iraq.

Segments were filmed in Olmsted Township on Oct. 8 and then in North Canton and New Philadelphia for several 3/25th Marines.

When the reserve unit returned to Brook Park Oct. 6 after seven months in Iraq, two local Marines were greeted with a surprise by their families.

Cousins Ryan Scullen and Rodriquez Bailey, graduates of Berea High School in 1998 and 2002, respectively, were told they were selected to appear on "Three Wishes" after family members signed them up at a casting call in August.

Scullen and Bailey were taken out to Dunham Drive, in the newly constructed Pembroke Place development in Olmsted Township, near the corner of Schady and Jennings Road.
