I know it has only been 6 months since the kid came back from the sandbox and the new tour started - but, you would think he'd remember the time difference! No such luck.
Anyway - "Hello to Miss Ellie and especially to Mr. Cobb" - there, I have got that done.
The unit is "up in the North" - no definite area given - and the H&S Company is working a lot of hours - he had not been to bed since Thursday as of today. They are with the Kurds again and everyone is well - just hot. No one has been injured since they got there on August 2nd... GOOD!
The good news is that he no longer has to go on patrols. The bad news is that he is still in Iraq.
Just to let you guys - especially Jim Nelson - know that I am keeping up the standards - when he complained about the work load he has now versus what is was before - I told him that once you get that 3rd stripe, life does change and responsibilities get added.
No sympathy from here, lol.
