Is it true that the Fire Department has to stand-by when they light up the candles on your cake? And, it can be seen over 100 miles to the sea? :-)

Thanks to all ,that send the well wishes. I appreciate them very much.
We are taking the cake this evening down to the beach at Cape Hatteras and if I can make that trek we will climb the 200 + steps and use the candles to power the lighthouse. The fire departments in all counties are on standby alert and all the permits are secured. The EPA is also standing by in case if I catch on fire with the heat in case of any toxic waste that may be released.The energy department called and they may reduce the candle power because they say that to many BTU's are being used and I may be fined.......:banana: So I'll just have another and contemplate what to do!

Green clusters are great..leave the red I'm not in distress yet, and with all those candles I surely don't need any illumination. I may feel like the HE though come morning at 0 dark 30!

Poor Phantom Blooper ate too much cake and is napping topside in his rack but Wing and Gary and the boys are still going for it. Dosent Phantom Blooper have a nice beach cottage?

That is what happens when liberty starts at 1200 on a Friday!
My cake had star clusters for candles and NASA also called demanding an explanation for the light. The navy put the chopper "Pedro" in the sky. The local news channel saw the flash and thought a UFO had passed,I didn't call them back to explain,so let them wonder! With that brew pyramid no wonder I have an HE headache today!
Different time ,different era Jim but the picture of that hooch brings back memories!
