Do you have a special talent? Can you juggle while riding a unicycle? Can you twirl a rifle as if it were a baton?

The Tonight Show might be looking for you. The Tonight Show will be producing an all-military special Nov. 27 in Los Angeles. The producers are looking for a Marine with a special talent. For example, the Navy has a sailor who can play two trumpets at once. Surely, Marines can do something better.

If your talent involves serious piano concertos or sappy love songs, please do not apply. Instead, we are searching for talents that put smiles on people's faces.

If interested, demo tapes should be sent to the Los Angeles Public Affairs Office for review and submission to the show's producers. The Marine picked will be flown to Los Angeles for two or three days around Thanksgiving. The Tonight Show will pay for all travel and hotel costs.

If you think you have a tasteful talent unlike any other, please send a VHS tape to:

US Marines
Attn: SSgt. McMeen
10880 Wilshire Blvd
Suite 1230
Los Angeles, Ca 90024

To be considered, you must include your name, rank, unit location and phone number. Submissions must be postmarked by Nov. 12.

If you are selected the producers will contact you. Please do not make any attempt to contact the show or producers directly. The Los Angeles Public Affairs Office will coordinate all submissions. Requests and applications will be handled through mail to the Los Angeles office only.

So, if you can play five instruments, that's nice. But, if you can play them with your feet, that's special--give us a call.
