Was anyone keeping score in the Tennis Match between John Roberts and the entire first line of the Liberal Left in the recent Judiciary Hearings in Washington, DC?
For the Record:
Roberts vs Sen. Edward M. (Can’t-get-his-slut-across-a-bridge-alive) Kennedy of Massachusetts, who sparred at length with Roberts over civil rights, while forgetting the rights of the woman he killed.
Score:
Roberts 1: Kennedy 0
Roberts vs Sen. Dick "core values" Durbin, D-Ill
Score
Roberts 1: Durbin 0
Roberts vs Sen. Dianne (Never-met-a-Bush-appointment-I-liked) Feinstein D-California
Score
Roberts 1: Feinstein 0
Roberts vs Sen Charles Schumer D-New York
Score
Roberts 1: Schumer 0
Roberts vs Sen Joseph Biben, D-Del
Score
Roberts 1: Biden 0
One lone man successfully defeated the First Team largest mouths and the heaviest hitters of the Loyal Left.

John Roberts 27 months as a Judge and now he will be the Head Honcho to decide your rights. Are you really comfortable with that?
Where you really comfortable with a 2ndLt in the RVN?

Actually, what my dear brother Wing seems to forget is that this inexperienced person, Roberts, is not exactly the equivalent of a 2nd LT. If we consider the Supreme Court a battle field, and our Justices the Generals, and the Congress the Reserves, then we must be reminded that this supposed 'Butter Bar', as Wing refered to, has for the last 20 years been kicking the tail off of the General Staff, and just this week mopped up the Reserves.
I would say to sign up the guy with the winning record. Remember, George A Custer was a LT who became a General, quite by mistake, but he won battles, and Napoleon was a lowly young Artillary Officer that became a great leader, because he won battles. ALthough, both of those suffered in the end a terrible defeat, while they were present, they were what winning was all about.
I say place the 2nd LT that wins battles in command, and shake up the General Staff.

My point exactly, 55 years of combined sloth, treachery, assorted graft, and stupidity!!! And, they are both lawyers to boot! What good has it done this country to gain from their experiences? Should we make either of them Chief Justice instead of Mr Roberts? Hell no! That would surely place this country on the Death Pyre, should either Sens Kennedy or Kerry be placed on the Court.
