Sadly this comes as no surprise to anyone that reads a newspaper or watches any of the major news networks. The media has moved from reporting the news to making the news and attempting to influence the opinions and political views of viewers and readers. There are exceptions. Many of the folks at FOX news make attempts to show the heroism and dedication of our deployed troops. The Wall Street Journal does a synopsis of good news from Iraq every other week or so. There are other examples, but one has to look diligently to find them. Say what you will about liberals, force feeding America their views via the news and influencing children in schools and colleges is a masterful strategic move.
