has anyone talked to Lake?

Just curious for anyone who's been around the boards a long time. I talked to PFC Lake a few day's before his unit was deployed, and haven't been on the boards much since then. I was wondering if he had been arouond, or if anyone has heard from him?

Yes, he's fine. He ends his combat tour this month. A few more days in the rear then his unit rotates back.

I talked to him two weeks ago he is fine, like wing said and he cant wait to get home. He has some great stories and pics for us. He asked me to tell everyone thanks for everything.

good to know. I did know he was in 1/6. one of my old units. glad he is safe so far, and doing well. tell him to write me when he gets a chance, if either of you talk to him again any time soon.
