Sorry Computer troubles here on this end! EEEEh! It was called The Battle of the Kokoda Trail lasted six months and was the first land defeat suffered by the Japanese during WWII.

My guess would have been 3 I did a search and found that 5 Marines awarded MOH have become Commandant Majgen Lejeune Majgen Nevill Gen VanDegrift Gen Shoup and Gen Wilson

That is a trick question. There was no axis of evil in WWII. There was the Axis Powers, Italy, Japan and Germany.

The Axis of Evil was coined by President Ronanld Reagan!

What Country was defeated by both the Germanys and the Allies? They lost the war twice, and in the end was on the side of the Allies!
