Given a choice between a trip to Chicago to visit a doll store or spending a morning motoring around with the Marines, 9-year-old Dalton Barnes didn't need to flip a coin to decide.
To members of Company B of the 6th Engineer Support Battalion at the Marine Corps Reserve Center here, it was obvious Dalton made the right choice in opting to spend Tuesday with them. His broad smile said it all.
Dalton, a leukemia patient from Bristol, was able to bounce around the vehicle training area behind the local reserve center in everything from a Hummer to a military road grader, all as Jenifer Barnes, his mom, looked on.
