Death in the family........

I recently had a death in the family. My grandfather's cousin just past away this past Weds. Well come to find out he had 4 sivler star from the Battle of Normandy. I was wondering how I could find out more info about him online since no one really know that much about his military career. I would really like to find out as much about his military career as I can. I know he was Army, I guess not all of my family was as smart as I was, ;) but anyways It really interest me that he was in The Battle of Normandy.

Any Help would be great.

Try this URL ,I had two WW II uncles and did a search on the records. I was given the DD 214 and obtained information. The wait is long...almost a year. It helps if you have full name,service #,DOB ect.

There are many other links. Do a search engine search.
