new book " Con Thien "

Any one read Coan's " Con Thien " yet ? For a refresher , Con T
was occupied by Marine Corps units from 1966 to 1969 I think. Located below the DMZ at the Western end of the "trace" .

Read it. Excellent book. I actually learned how a friend of mine, 1st Sgt. Jetty Rivers, was killed on the "Hill of Angels" in 1967.

I was on Con T in the latter part of 1966 with 2/5 . When I went back in 1968 the hill was regularly pounded by NVA arty from across the Ben Hai .
