I tell you what! The scariest thing to us was a 2nd Louie with a map and a compass, and the second scariest thing was a Sergeant that said, "I don't have a clue, what do you guys think we should do?" The next scariest thing was a Captain that was in Supply for all his career, and because of retirement and concerns about his rank, decided he wanted to be a Line Company CO! And, the last scariest thing was listening into a conversation between your Platoon Sergeant and your Platoon Commander, "I thought you made sure there were fresh batteries for the radio? Or, what do you mean you have the wrong map?"
