Hey,

I hope yall Marines don't mind me posting this here. As yall can tell by my name, I am not or am not planning on joining the Marine Corps.

My goal once i get out of junior college is to join the Navy and become a Corpsman. I go to MEPS next month to sign the papers, hopefully they will give me Japan as station of choice. I was also wanting to learn about the way Marines are, so I hope yall don't mind if I kinda just hang back and watch.

I am not on here to talk bout myself. The reason I am here is b/c my best friend is a Marine. He will be making Sgt. by December. I was wondering since this is an important step in his career, what would be a good gift to give him when he recieves his rank.

Thanks for your time.

When your friend the Marine does pick up Sgt., you may want to send him a Promotion E-Card. You can find them here:

E- Greeting Cards (http://www.leatherneck.com/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=503&thumb=1)

Just click on the card you want and then click "Send as e-Card".

Good luck to you.

Hey thanks Marine.

Those were pretty cool e-cards.

But I am afraid if I sent him one of those, he might not look at it.

He is not a computer savy person. He can turn it on and thats bout it.

Good Marine though.

I think I will look for cards that can be sent through snail mail.

Have a good one Marines.
