How come I'm not surprised. This story is a perfect example of what has become of our schools. Education in the U.S. has been virtually hijacked by the liberal left, who for all practical purposes are your basic socialists. Many of these teachers, principals and "administrators" come right out of colleges and universities, all too eager to shape young minds into the same liberal-socialist-gender-neutral, political correctness bull&%#$ that was rammed down their throats by their professors.

This is almost as bad as that high school that tried to ban Marine recruiters from visiting the school. When I came home from a deployment in Iraq, I was asked by at least 2 or 3 elementary and middle schools to come talk to children on veterans day. I talked to a class of third graders who's teacher was a former Marine. It was a very rewarding experience, and this Sgt was robbed of that. Freaking hippies.

THAT JUST SHOWS, RESPECT IS TAUGHT AT HOME, NOT IN A CLASS ROOM, WHERE SOME THINGS SHOULD BE KEPT GOING IN HOME AND SCHOOL THIS PERSON SHOWED NOT TO SUPPORT IT. This sounds like schools all over the place they don't want to let anybody have any thing to do with teaching the kids respect for God,Country, Uniform,or anything else for that matter,as for a lot of homes these days there is no respect.

My regards have been sent to Principal Ulrica Corbett - I don't think she is going to like what I said. I REALLY DON'T GIVE A **** WHAT SHE THINKS. All I know is she or he or whatever the hell it is ain't worth ****ing on.

Sent emails to everyone (corbett, Jackson, O'Neal, Robinson, Mayers, Gallimore, and Smith) expressing the disgrace of that school system for what this corbett person did.
Already sent an email to Lund and he was nice enough to send me a positive reply. According to him there has been a tremendous amount of attention drawn to this incident. To quote him, "I'm ready for the spotlight to be on someone else." He seems like a nice guy. I told him in my email to him that corbett would make a good professional wrestler and she would win all her matches because she is so damn ugly - he got a kick out of that. Maybe they will get enough negative responses about this incident that they will fire her ass.

shocked and dissappointed. But I'm glad that this person repersents only a very small minority of Americans. Most other places you will see overwhelming support for our brothers and sisters in uniform.
What we need is for a school district to FIRE someone like Corbett. Make a statement! Sure she is entitled to her opinion but she also has a job to do and do fairly. Not with her BS interjections. I want the school board to can her @ss but like other similar situations, I fear that she'll just get a private nasty gram from her boss and a public "we support her right to make a decision in the interest of the children" or any other PR crap!

Just a self important mid level manager who thinks she has some power.
I do have to diaagree with CplCrotty. This sin't political and has nothing to do with liberals. It has to do with some clown who got a little taste of power and thinks she's Gods gift to the school system.
Most of the people who shaped my life were teachers and administrators in schools and some of them were liberals. They taught me to think and see all sides and not put labels on people for their beliefs. The Marines taught me respect for myself and the nation that gives even clowns like this the freedom to act like *******s.
