Been a looooooong time, but I'm trying to bone up on some of the unit reports. It may come in handy for the (OpForce) M.O.U.T. training I'm trying to get into.
I'm sure some of them have changed in the 25+ years since my EAS.

Now don't hold me to it because it has been a while for me also......but i think
S is size
M is mission
E is equipment
A is area
C is command & signial
and i'm still working on remembering BAMCIS.

Check out the website at The Basic School. They've posted all of the student handouts. The section on Tactics will provide some good instruction on SMEAC and all that other good stuff. The download for Combat Orders should have most of the information you need.
