What's The Difference ?

Can someone let me know what the different criterion are between the armed services branches for obtaining markmenship badges?

EX:
It's been explained to me Marines qualify at 200, 300 and 500 meters and three different positions; standing, sitting, prone.
What criteria is used by the Army .... such a distance, position, etc. and what are the levels of marksmenship for both USMC and USA?

I think Wylie 1 is trying to determine if Marines are better marksmen and receive more training on the range than the Army. I don't know how the Army operates but i do know the Marines are more highly trained and shoot from longer distances than the Army. Maybe one of our multi-service members can answer the question. All Marines are trained as riflemen regardless of their future MOS.
