"To the Last Man," by Jeff Shaara.
His dad wrote "Killer Angels," and he wrote "Gods and Generals."
To the Last Man is about WWI. We've all heard about Belleau Wood, but Shaara brings it to life. This was one helluva fight and once you read this you'll appreciate that fact even more. No wonder the Germans called us Devil Dogs after that.
Great book. Hope ya'll get a chance to read it.
