I am a Reservist and Im not sure if Im in the Select Reserves or not, what are the select reserves?

If you're required to be drilling "one weekend a month" etc., then you're SMCR.

I thought that SMCR meant "Selected Marine Corps Reserve," and that it ment you were activated.
