Here is alittle something I wrote to help you young Marines with some of the everyday Hardships you will face when you come home......

A look into his eyes revals it all;
Hope, pain suffering, exhaustion'
But he still goes on.
He wonders--one more move,
One more saddle up or one more city to take.
Could this be the last City?
He worries; not for himself
But for the Marine to his right and left
His brothers-a speacial kind of family hard to explain.
WILL HE FAIL THEM,
Will our luck hold out.
No one knows but he still holds hope.
Than it happens'
A shot rings out and someone falls,
He runs to his friend.
His last breath;
Than he looks into his eyes.
No pain , no suffering, no hope but peace.
It has all been transfered to you in one look.
You continue on ---FOR HIM.
HE NEVER LEAVES YOUR MIND.

The day comes and you are off,
Time to go home.You made it
Than there it is ....Home
You look into the mirror;
Older- Harder -Tired but gald you are home
Families welcome you - friends avoid you
You avoid eye contact; they will know
Finallly,
YOUR FATHER
He looks into your eyes,
His tear up; you both cry
He feels your pain- he understands the look
Becasue you both now share the same thing
The look of losing a friend in combat
You are both now:
Combat Marines

Hope you all enjoy
