Right on!!
I remember the 1st Marine Regt. band--drum and bugle--practicing and disturbing my Wa on a daily basis at Pendleton.
They also spent a lot of time working on squad tactics under the guidance of Sgt. Jiminez and in the field they were security for regimental HQ, grunts like the rest of us.
I had, and still have, a lot of respect for them and knew I could count on them if stuff started flying.
