Just wanted to let you guys know we've got another future Marine ready to join the family tomorrow. Signing papers today, heading to MEPS in Detroit Tuesday.

This young fellow will make a very good Marine, he has a solid head on his shoulders and comes from a good family. He's also an eagle scout and has a GPA over 3.0.

All goes well come Wednesday we'll have a new Marine Corps Poolee.

Good work Welbaum! Eagle Scout, nice catch. He'll have a leg up on the swimming and repelling.

Perhaps he has a buddy or three in his Boy Scout network you can talk to about Our Corps.

Outstanding Welbaum he sounds just like what the Corps looks for in poolees. Good work poolee, Eagle Scouts with >3.0 GPA are hard to come by.
