Capt.Ted Williams,just one of hundreds of pro athletes and motion picture actors who stood up for their country,in WWII and Korea.
Interestingly,Capt.Williams'was the wing man for another up and coming Marine Aviator,the one and only Maj.John Glenn,Glenn and Williams flew many missions together and both went on to Glory.
Sadly,the tradition of Patriotism no longer runs in our Young stars and athletes,The tradition of Money and More Money,Greed and what can I do for Me is now the rule.
