Your mind.
To prepare mentally:
Get about 4 hours of sleep each night, roll in some mud, wear the same clothes for three days straight, have someone scream at you for a minimum of 5 hours each day, at every meal eat 2000 calories, memorize everything you read, in front of sixty people ask your family what you most embarrassing secret is have them remind everyone what it was at least twice a day, when you have to go to the bathroom ask permission (yell this request at the top of your lungs) and, last but not least remove all the pronouns from your vocabulary.

yeah, that seems about right, but don't forget, cut your meal time down to about 4 minutes, your hygiene time to about 2 minutes, and, make it 3 or 4 people screaming at you all day.

You can prepare yourself physically, but not mentally. My sources tell me that nothing is by the book in Boot Camp.
