Being from the REPUBLIC OF TEXAS (Houston Native), but been in West TEXAS since '59 and worked in the EARL PATCH for 20+ yrs. Just wonder many TEXICANS we gots hear.

I'm suprised more texans have not responded to this thread. All the texans I knew in the Corps had the biggest mouths of any other Marine I knew LMAO !!!


(Sorry, just had to get a dig in there, almost every roomoate I had was from texas, and we ALWAYS ragged on each other)

sorta like the MARINES, u always have a loyal friend in a TEXICAN, cause that's the wy we R. Hardjeri, right on bout that their mouth. had 2 fellow TEXICANS & we followed each other and somewhow we always got blamed for the other and had to fight it out, but 1 got wind of that fight the BIG FIGHT was on and "ALLNIGHT LONG". IN the am there was a fresh bier awaiting for whoever won. It was not always me :mad:

Born in Uvalde.

Dad was an Army AirCorps Pilot.

We followed him around while he barnstormed and crop dusted.

Lived in Leakey, Bracketville, Sabinal, Utopia and ended up in Alice.

Did the school ending thing there and joined the Corps.

Lived overseas and now in SW Georgia.
