Steve Vickers moved from Britain to Zimbabwe in 1993. Three years later he married Tellmore, a Zimbabwean. He recalls his experiences of the traditional marriage...

That just shows how stupid and errogant the Brits are. Shoulda stayed home and married a white woman.

Well I have to say that me and my lady have been married now for 25 years and i have nothing but the utmost respect for her and what she has brought into my life. even today we still hold hands in public and show affection to each other. We have 6 beautiful children and 11 grandchildren and i know i have been blessed, as far as money i would have paid any amount that i could to have her then and to have her now...

There is no negotiation in marriage or relationships. You just go to "your" room and stay there until it's okay to come out. :)

Truly the question should be how much would you pay to get rid of them.

You know I wouldnt even pay anything to get rid of him. Everyone says its cause we are still in the honeymoon stage.. Heck in april this year we will celebrate our 2 yr anniversary. things are as good today as when we first met..

It takes 2 years and 8 fights to get to know someone....

You know we have never had a fight. We actually sit and talk things thru. But I think what has alot to do with that is our first marriages. His was an awful one and Mine OMG.. It was hell.. So when we decided to get married we already knew what we wanted and what we didnt. We actually talk everything thru.

O.K. 89, I'll agree with you but my ex-wife, I would gladly pay for a Browning .50 cal and the ammo. Smile, wink, and reach out and touch someone from aklik away.

LOL.. Naw Im not sure about the recall on wives.. As for you Jag.. I think the same way about my husbands ex. I keep telling him that I want to run into her just once when we are in texas. She took him for a hell of a ride.. Lets just say how would you feel if you got married, and 3 days later had to ship out on deployment, come home to a apartment that had everything shut off in, no money in your acct cause she spent it, to say the least, in 2 yrs of marriage they saw each other 7 days. 3 of them before he went on deployment and the other when she came to see him when he come home on mid deployment to tell him she wanted to get a divorce..
