"It's the non-commissioned officers who run the Marine Corps..." Ahh, I love to hear that...(Rest in peace Lt. Reasoner!)

A Company, 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, remembered their company commander, 1st Lt. Frank S. Reasoner

It is a lot of responsibility to usually assign a Captain of Marines to lead a rifle company. Reaching down and giving a 1st Lt this job testifies to the training and dedication of the whole unit.

Every swinging d*ck in A Co 3rd Recon BN knew their job well enough that the 'Old Man' felt comfortable appointing 1st Lt Reasoner to the job.

And of course the BN CO made the right decision. The survivors that went on to continue to contribute to our society reflects very well to the Marine Corps and our Traditions.
