Finally Over

Well folks, it took 108 days but I finally got off the Island, as a Marine. Graduated from MCRD Parris Island today at 0900, November 24th. I got dropped early in training due to pneumonia and had to stay an extra month but I got 'er done ;)

Thank God! :)

It's awesome to be called Marine, walking around the base and seeing Drill Instructors and having them say "Oorah Marine" and "Congratulations Marine" is an amazing feeling.

Some of ya'll might remember me and maybe not but either way, howdy. I graduated from Platoon 1100, Alpha Co. 1st BN. I gotta report by 1500 on Dec 28 to MCT, that's my next obstacle, any suggestions and such are welcome ;)

it's awesome to be back in civilization, it took me like 20 minutes just to type all this stuff because I keep screwing up typing it's been so long lol :)

Congrats Marine, you are now one of the Few. Not many can say they have acheived as much as we have, wear your uniforms with pride everyday! as far as mct goes? you'll be getting there, and it'll be colder than sh*t, take this from me, if you dont have good soles on the bottom of your boots, get some, i got frost bite down there, and it sucked. i still dont have feeling in half of my one foot. other than that sit back and have fun...and remember, always to hurry up and wait...semper fi Marine!!!

Congratulations on earning the title bro. Don't worry about MCT you will have some challenges but you will also have a lot of fun. Just remember this, the training that you get there just might save your life or that of a brother Marine someday.
