Bill O'Reilly has a poll: "Do you think the US Marine involved in the Fallujah shooting should be prosecuted?"
Vote no and maybe the media will stand behind the military for a change.

I vote No
I voted no.
Unless one has seen combat and know what its like to be in the face of death and watch your comrades fall with rounds coming down range, they have no right to vote "yes"
And I'm surethose who have would vote "no"

NO NO NO NO NO NO THOUSAND TIMES NO. Who here in the states, or elsewhere, if they were not in that room with that soldier, could vote yes?? They have no clue what was happening there, and who is to say that the man on the floor was not hiding a weapon???
I can't stand that the media holds on to this one incident, but very obviously neglects to show our American Marine who was shot dead, and lays in a pool of blood, after going into a house with three enemies in it, and they shoot him dead, and then THEY GET AWAY!! :( Why don't they show that on the news??????
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS!!!!

You know Ivalis, after reading your post a few times I think that it bears merit.
"Justice via a poll". It somehow smacks of mob rule.
This is I think, the power that the media would like to own. They could present the question in a way to fit their agenda and then say, what do You think? The answer can therefore be formed by their question with a pedictable responce.
Do I support the Marine? Of course I do! Does anyone in the media care? I don't think so. They just want the power to make a call that leads to high rateings.
"Justice via a poll?" Not good for America!

I am very sorry for the loss of your father, but let me say this...
Even tho you lost your father You have gained a Million brothers and sisters, As long as there is a United States Marine Corps your father will never Die..
War is a horrible thing. It really is. Yes as Marines we like to say "kill kill kill them all !", its part of our warrior ethos, but killing another human being...man thats just horrible....
I'm probably gonna be the one that gets killed hesistating to pull the trigger on a 10 year old boy with an AK in one hand and an IED in another.
May the Lord be with you Tracy Shaw, and may your father rest in peace knowing that he has served his country honorably.
I'm completely speechless. Already 1200+ dead Americans and counting. I wish it could just all end.
Man I don't know what I'm talking about...

There was no way I could vote anything but NO! The media just doesn't seem to get it. Being in such a miserable, hot, dusty and dirty location, having a group of ignorant and trigger happy idiots shooting anyone in sight, it's easy to see that if you aren't careful and don't take any chances with those s.o.b.s ! My prayers are with that young Marine and to him I gladly say "Semper Fidelis"!
NO - No doubt - May God give this Marine strength to endure this BS ivestigation and the ignorant media.

You want to send a "REAL" message?
Write your stinking Congressman/woman, and tell them what you think! They are the only ones who can influence this young Marine warrior's fate!!!
The American public gave the media, including "fair and balanced" (sic) O'Reilley, a big fat "NO" vote a couple weeks ago.
Doesn't seem to have affected the media one iota!!!
Get your warm and fuzzies, and promote "two faced" Bill's web site (and boost his internet advertising revenues) if you must, by voting on the website, but do some actual good too, by firing off an email to your Senators, and Representatives, as well!
While you're at it, send one to Rumsfeld, and the President, too!
Nice One radio relay, I agree with you! The poll although a good way to deliver the thoughts of a nation is really only making this O'Reilly B*****d more money, the right approach is to let the voices of the constituants speak to the elected representatives as their jobs depend on your VOTE!!!!
By the way I would vote NO, but believe strongly as my brother "radio relay"
