I do not have the entire article in front of me tight now, but I saw something in the USA Today this morning. It waqs Colin Powell referring to North Korea as a terrorist state. Now since we, ( the USA) have declared war on terror, does this mean that we are going to end up going to war with North Korea?

That's a scary thought to me. It seems to me that if we ARE at war with terror, then we MUST do something about North Korea. And if we are NOT going to do anything about them, it is my opinion that Mr. Powell should NOT have labled them as such.

Just my thoughts on the subject. Anyone have any more info about this?

At the moment North Korea has more problems than it can handle.
I don't see them trying to invade South Korea like in the 1950s.
There more north koreans seek asylum or a way out of there.
Does it harbor terrorists?
That might be another thing.
As stretched as our military is at the moment.
I don't see us taking on North Korea.
Unless they do something foolish...
Than that might be something else...

MillRatUSMC,

We have moved back from the DMZ, way back!

This might be because the north has dug so far south with tunnels that our troops would be surounded if they used them.

My take is that we have decided to use weapons that replace the rifle, big time, if they make a southward move.

It's a chess game there and I think we have called "checkmate" on that approach.
