Stated those that suffered from asthma and other respiratory ailments were given flu shots.
When there's a shortage.
Well it seems that they will be playing in the cold.
So they might need those shots.
Now a question'
"Is this being done to all the teams in the NFL?"
I think that shots should first be given to the very young and then the elderly.
Before anyone else.
It also seem that money talking here...
But it's pure BS
IMHO

I don't believe in flu shots to begin with, but given the current "self" driven life style of Americans today I'm not surprised.

"Get out of the way old women, move it kid, I'm a BIG SHOT and I need MY shot".

The "rules" are very clear.

Flu shots should be given to;
The very young.
The elderly.
Those with compromised immune systems.

Asthma in a young, very athletic ball player does not seem appropriate.
Especially when there are alot of those people in the target group who cannot get the shot.

Hey....like me.
Because of Muscular Distrophy, I take a bunch of pills that surpress my immune system. Otherwise I'd be in a wheelchair.
The VA in my neck of the woods does not have the vaccine at this time for it's eligible Vets.
But a multi million dollar ball player.....well......no problem.
We found the vaccine for you guys.

"Pure BS" doesn't start to explain how I feel about stuff like this.

Lets start with the ineptness of our Government on handling this flu shot fiasco that, for the past 3 or so years, seems to be riddled with problems.
Shortages, contamination, out sourcing.
Then the pharmacuticle co's that don't give a rats a** because theres no money in it for them.
Ahhhh....I know, I rant.
It's how I see it.
