Say, Mac! Didn't know that existed. Just ordered the map reading. I thank you, and I'm sure my Cub Scouts probably won't thank you when they find out this will entail even more "forced marches". :-) The "Pixies" actually like to learn these things on our hikes.

Number one single reason (used to be) for flunking out of Officer Canadiate School (OCS) was Land Navigation. This is according to my Korean Army 1stLt. Uncle.

I received my map reading book yesterday from pentagon publishing - It's an Army book. I guess it'll work for CUB scouts, but I'll obtain a copy of the MCI course for the BOY scouts...
