This was emailed to me at work this morning, so to the authunticity I cannot atest to. If anyone has information on this I would like to know.

I understand and believe in free markets and that it is up to a company to contribute to what they see fit. But I personally feel that they missed an important and vital opportunity to show at least support for those (future customers) that are in the Armed Services. I, myslef like the tast of Starbucks, but now this Marine will go to an alternative, unless it is proved to be false. This will also help with market diversity.

Claim: Starbucks refused free product to G.I.s serving in Iraq, saying it didn't support the war and anyone in it.

Status: False.
Starbucks not supporting law enforcement officers arose about a year ago.

That also was false.
