A mission is a mission. IF they had a 16 and three full mags, they were good to go.Then again, lots of these guys joined up for the bennies and nothing more. Never thought they would see the enemy in the "Nasty guard" At least those were the types I saw in Hollywood when I was active duty. Being they were reservists the attitude does not surprise me at all. However, their commander could have been a real dip sh**.

It's reaching the point in life sox, where I forget a lot of things.--lol

Some strong comments were made and the thread may have been vaporized.

There may be something very reveiling about the general conditions of men and equipment there with this story. I'm watching it play out on the news with investigative intrest.

Saw/read "Deja Vu' after posting.

It just hit me so hard when I saw it, I posted before looking thru the others.

Court martials all around.

Who cares WHAT the supplies were, GRUNTS somewhere NEEDED it. Another mission depended upon their mission.

Guess they didn't take their oath very seriously. I just don't understand the notion of not doing your mission. It may not be the best planned, but it has to be done. I just can't grasp it. Guess that's what makes us Marines and them failures.

Even if it was posted before, the fact of the matter is they refused the orders. String 'em up. They will pay the price like SSGT Fredrick.
