I say this with all honesty. But I also say with all honesty I believe you need to loose your nic. The term "DevilDog" is reserved soley for Marines. I do not mean to burst your bubble or discourage you. I know you want to be One Of The Few but at this time you are only a Poolee.
My opinion only but I believe you'll find the same with many Marines here.

Congratulations on possibly the best decision you will ever make. Boot camp will be your right of passage once you graduate you will earn the title of Marine (Devil Dog) until then you are a civilian. But, keep a positive attitude, stay out of trouble, and PT every day, you will have no problem becoming one of the few and the proud. Good luck,
