Well I just wanted to tell everyone I'm finally DEPed in. It took me a while but I'm on my way. I'm really excited and have been telling everyone!!! I'm working on my cousin, he should be signed up in another couple of weeks. I just got to keep motivating him.

My ship date is set for late June. Thanks for the motivation guys. I love the Corps!!!!

Yeah, thats what alot of people are saying but I don't care, I would go to boot camp in Africa if that was where it was.
You'll do fine. Just remember it's more about the mind than it is the body. Keep your mind in shape as well as your body. The DI's will make you realize that your body can go farther than your mind will let it. Pass that test, everything else falls into place.

Welcome Aboard Patrick and all you other Poolees. Stay in touch with your Recruiters and work on your upper body strength, also try to run at least 3 miles a day. you will be given an Initial strength test when you get to Boot Camp. It consists of Pullups, situps, and a timed 3 mile run.
Again, Good Luck and Welcome Aboard. Soon you too will be bestowed with the honor of being a "United States Marine". You will be part of a brother and sisterhood older than the nation itself. You will find out that it's true, We do take care of our own.
