I just found out that all poolees shipping September 20th 2004 to Parris Island will be assigned to Fox Co., 2RTB.

Do you happen to know anything about August 30th shippers heading to PI?

My recruiter was re-assigned before I shipped out, so I've had to go to other recruiters at the recruiting station for information. The other SSgt said that I won't know which batallion or company I'll be in until I get there, but my Marine buddies tell me I can easily find out beforehand.

Anyways, if you happen to know how I could find that out, it'd rock.

If i'm not mistaken you'll be assigned to Echo Co. 2RTBn. I have a friend leaving at that time and thats what he told me.

I know 3rd batallion is known for its discipline, 1st batallion is known for its drill accuracy....is 2nd batallion known for anything in particular?

What I've always heard about 2nd BN is "All Kill, No Drill" Then again, I was Mighty Mike myself, so I'll tell you that 3rd BN will smokecheck all the rest of 'em.

I ship Sept. 20 and over on the Parris Island website several people told me I would be in Bravo Co. :confused:

Good call wannabe. I recieved some bad info. The person who told me Fox Co. confused the dates and thought Sep 20th shippers graduate on 24 Dec. Thanks for setting it straight.
