I just wanted to ask if any of you out there would be willing to go fight in Iraq right now or in the beginning of the war?
I've been out for about 3 yrs and miss it, and would definitly want to go back, people think I'm stupid.
Just want to know what you guys think.

Well, this has ben answered in MANY ways in MANY threads. And here is your answer. MOST of the Marines on here, myself included, would go back, and fight, if we could.

Was trying to get into a reserve unit before the war began, i'm 39 and been out since 1986 and would go in a heartbeat...no make that a half a heartbeat...

Ditto, Ditto, and more ditto. My wife and kids said they would rather have me at home. The agreement is that I wouldn't re-join but if I were to be called, then the bags get packed. My little brother is going in October - I wish it were me instead. BUT this is the way the cookie crumbles - my responsibilities are here with the family and to support our troops.
If I could sneak out - Hell yeah - would have to be home for dinner though.
