I think this is a good cause and am just passing it on. Please do the same.

Hi, everyone!
I am campaigning! My nephew, Mark Roberts, and his fiancé, Serena Hokkanen, are both Marine Sergeants serving in Iraq with plans to get married when they return. Well, as fate would have it, they have been entered into a "Dream Wedding" contest being sponsored by a radio station in Colorado (where they are from) and are among the five finalists. So I am campaigning for VOTES!
All you need to do is go to the website www.mix100.com scroll down and click on the dream wedding logo. It takes you directly to the vote site. Click on Serena and Mark's name and click submit vote. With even a moderate speed computer it takes only 20 - 30 seconds. This is the least we can do for two dedicated marines serving in Iraq where the temps are now 120 degrees and life in general is difficult. Wouldn't it be great for them to come home in the fall to have the dream wedding they had hoped for?!?
So limber up those fingers and get voting! Please pass this along to YOUR email list. I would love to see them win by a landslide! Oh, by the way, the contest ends July 15th so DON'T WAIT!!!!

Keep trying they are in the lead right now, But they were in the lead last night. Now if you want to vote again, just delete your temporary cookies, and vote again.
Got my vote, with a day to spare even
As of 9:15 AM today, Thursday (7/15) Serena & Mark lead by 44%.
Next couple are at 40%.
I think the contest ends today sometime.

Well here is the results.

"Due to circumstances that have arisen, at no fault of the radio station; we must regretfully decline the 'Dream Wedding' prize offered by MIX 100; although our plans are to still be married next summer. We wish couple number 5 the best of luck and a long, lasting happy union. Couple number 5 deserves to have a memorable wedding. We are both extremely glad that they can enjoy a 'Dream Wedding,' along with the generous sponsorships from the top vendors in the Metro Denver area...Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience. And please let Dom and Jane know that we really enjoyed listening to their morning show on our way to work when we were not deployed, and we will continue to listen to them when we get home safe sometime in September."

Sorry, read wrong, they didn't get an y grief. I just hoped that they could have enjoyed this. A nice thing to come home to. They probabally did the right thing in their situation, so that someone else could enjoy.
At any rate, best of luck to them and thanks for their service to our country.

New news:
I called the station. I have the story if any one is interested.
On the other side of things, Mike has just re-learned to check things out before going balistic.
I'll be cleaning the head if anyone needs me.
Just goes to show what happens when a bunch of Marines put their head (or in this case, their votes), together...That is a tight group!!!!
