We transfered power to Iraqi's two days ahead of schedule.
In a move to offset any attacks planned for June 30th.
In principle the intermin government could ask that the coalition forces leave Iraq, an unlikely move.
It will be six months till the general elections in Iraq and a new government will be in place.
So my question is;
Will this transfer of power make Iraq more secure?

In the long run, probably. Right now, probably not.
