Along the lines, of how do we measure our progress in this war on terrorism.
To my way of thinking, as long as bin liden is alive in Pakistan or Afghanistan.
The insurgents will keep on attacking us because they have something to believe in.
Than there's Abu Musab al-Zarqawi alive in Iraq
Some Iraqi's could care less which government will take over.
The only thing they want, is for us to leave Iraq.
The insurgents we kill, are martyrs to the rest of the muslims in the Middle East.
Killing bin linden and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi will make them martyrs.
Do we have a de facto war of attrition?
So how do we measure our progress in this war on terrorism?
One thing is for certain, the world changed on 11 September 2001.
"Saudi analysts have estimated there are some 2,000 militants in the kingdom.
Who might have links with Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida terror network or its sympathizers."
2,000 militants in a country that suppose to be our ally.
Bet you money, that there's terrorists cells here at home.
This war will go on for a long time, regardless of how long.
We have to win this war, any other outcome will mean a world of fear for generations especially the generation of my grandchildren.
For the sake of generations not yet born, we must win this war on terrorism!
